Wine at Casa Luna

Casa Luna Gourmet Accommodation is a food lover's haven. The library in the lounge/dining room is over-flowing with a wonderful collection of cookbooks, collected by Gwenda over a lifetime of joyful eating and cooking, especially the food of Italy. The style at Casa Luna is influenced by many trips to this favorite country.
The Italians say – “At table you never grow old”. Join the table at Casa Luna and live forever!
Gwenda and David are members of Slow Food, (
www.slowfoodaustralia.com.au), the movement founded in Italy as an antidote to the universal proliferation of fast food. Slow Food’s philosophy advocates an unhurried life, beginning at the table. It promotes biodiversity in food supply, education in taste and the protection of food heritage, including endangered products and dishes. It encourages the enjoyment of dining with friends and family.

Casa Luna showcases seasonal local produce such as Mt Bellevue Welsh Black beef from up the hill, fabulous cheeses from Milawa Cheese Factory, Milawa free range chicken and game birds, King Valley pork and goat, salt bush lamb, walnuts from round the bend, hazelnuts and chestnuts from Porepunkah, cherries and stone fruits from Glenrowan, apples from Wandiligong, even saffron from Stanley.
The King Valley and Victoria's High Country are blessed. And so are the guests at Casa Luna Gourmet Accommodation.
Dinner choices suit your whim. Choose either the full gourmet experience, of 5 courses matched to King Valley wines, a lighter 2 course meal, or more simple options such as pasta and salad, antipasto and cheese, etc., for occasions when you may have enjoyed lunch out.
