Deposits and Cancellations

A deposit of $80.00 per night per room is required on booking.  Payment can be made by Direct Credit, by Visa or Mastercard, or by cheque.  Our cancellation policy refunds all but $25.00 handling fee if it is necessary to cancel 21 days prior to the date of your booking.  If the booking is cancelled between 21 days and 24 hours before arrival, we regret that we cannot refund the deposit, unless we are able to fill the booking.  In the case of cancellations less than 24 hours before arrival, the full amount is payable if it is not possible to rebook the room.

Minimum Night Bookings

Minimum night bookings apply on festival and long weekends, 2 to 3 nights, depending on the particular weekend.  Specific booking requirements will be available on enquiring or booking.

Check In and Out Times 

Check in time is not before 2.30 pm, unless alternative arrangements are made beforehand.
Check out is 11.00am, but every attempt is made to accommodate requests for later check out.

Smoking Policy

Casa Luna is a smoke-free premises inside.  Ashtrays are provided for guests who would like to smoke outside.

Telecommunications

It may be a blessing, or a curse, but Casa Luna is in a micro area which does not have mobile phone reception.  The land line is available for your use, and we are happy to take messages.  We have a WiFi facility for guests use.

Children

Casa Luna has been designed as a retreat for adults, and as such, does not provide activities for children’s specific enjoyment.  Casa Luna is a small, intimate experience for its four guests, and is particularly suitable for parents of babes in arms.  The dining room's proximity to the guest rooms means the use of a baby monitor ensures parents' peace of mind, allowing them to dine and relax in blissful peace.  Casa Luna is the perfect venue for a '"babymoon".

Pets

Dogs are welcome in the grounds, but unfortunately, not in the rooms.  We have a fenced area for them if required, or they can sleep outside your room or in your car, according to your preference.  We are dog owners and lovers, and understand that they need a holiday too!  There is plenty of room for them to play, and lots for dogs to investigate.  Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets, and ensuring their pets don't infringe on other guests' enjoyment of Casa Luna.  In the unlikely event of any damage caused by pets, their owners are responsible for any relevant expenses.
Horses have a 35 acre fenced paddock to enjoy, with ample feed and water.

Farming Activities

Casa Luna is set on 35 acres adjoining farming properties and vineyards.  At some times of the year, particularly during grape harvest in Autumn, there may be some noise associated with harvesters, scare guns, etc.  These activities are generally restricted to day time hours, however, we would like you to be aware of this situation in case it is likely to be an issue for some.

Our Commitment to Privacy

Any personal details and information we receive from you is treated with the utmost confidentiality.  We place your email address on our database in order to occasionally advise you of future events at Casa Luna and in the area, and to let you know of any specials or packages on offer, or any news we have to report.  Of course your details are deleted if you prefer not to hear from us.
